Mapdex — Privacy Policy

Mapdex ("the app") is an unofficial fan-made guide published by Bluevolt Technology (developer name "MapDex") on Google Play and the App Store.

Summary

Mapdex does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

Data stored on your device

To work, the app keeps a few settings only on your device:

• the points you mark as "found" on the map;
• the personal points you add to the map;
• your display preferences (for example, hiding found points).

This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data in your phone settings, or by uninstalling the app.

Data we do not collect

• No name, email address, phone number or contact information.
• No location: the app does not ask for or use your location.
• No advertising identifier, and no advertising of any kind.
• No analytics, crash reporting or usage statistics sent to us.

Internet access

The guide and the map work offline. The app does not send any information about you over the internet.

Third parties

The app does not share any data with third parties. Google Play and the App Store, which distribute the app, apply their own privacy policies.

Children

Mapdex is intended for adults (18+), like the game it covers. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
